Huasteca Culture / Cultura Huasteca

This is one of the many beautiful representations of the Huasteca Culture, very rich in symbolism that reflects the Toltecayotl legacy. This monumental sculpture come from the early Post Classic Period AD 1050 from the northern area of Veracruz in Mexico. Very interesting to see the mark or symbols on the skin, a tradition in the Huastec Culture.
